About us

Every business deserves an AI that actually knows its business.

Somewhere in every company, in a PDF nobody reads twice, a spreadsheet three folders deep, a database only one engineer knows how to query, sits the actual answer to the question a customer is asking right now. That knowledge is real. It's accurate. And for almost everyone outside a handful of well-funded engineering teams, it's completely locked away from the people who need it most: customers, at the moment they need it.

We started Pelifi because that gap felt backwards. The largest companies in the world already have AI systems that read their own documentation, query their own databases, and answer customers instantly and correctly. Everyone else. The ten-person startup, the family-run shop with a big product catalog, the solo founder answering the same six questions all day, gets left with a search bar and a support inbox. We're on a mission to democratize AI: to take the same caliber of grounded, retrieval-backed intelligence that powers billion-dollar support operations and put it within reach of anyone with a website and something worth explaining.

We believe good answers come from real data, not confident guessing. An AI that makes things up politely is still an AI that lies to your customers, and trust, once spent, is expensive to earn back. So everything we build starts from a stubborn, unglamorous principle: show your work. Every answer Pelifi gives is grounded in something you actually wrote, uploaded, or connected, cited, traceable, and honest about what it doesn't know.

We also believe that access shouldn't require an engineering team. You shouldn't need to hire a machine learning specialist to give your customers a good answer at 2am. That's why Pelifi turns a folder of documents, a help-center URL, or a read-only database connection into a working AI assistant in minutes, and why the entire integration is one line of code, copy it, paste it before your closing </body> tag, and it works. No infrastructure to manage, no model to fine-tune, no team to hire.

This matters most for the businesses too small to be anyone's priority. A solo founder's time answering the same shipping question for the hundredth time is time not spent building the thing they actually set out to build. A small support team drowning in repetitive tickets is a team that can't get to the customer with the genuinely hard problem. Every question Pelifi answers correctly, on its own, is a little bit of a business's future given back to it. And that compounds in a way that matters far more for a small team than a large one.

We don't think the future of AI should belong to whoever can afford to build it from scratch. We think it should belong to whoever has something true to say and a customer who deserves to hear it. Which is to say, everyone. That's the internet we're building toward: one where every business's real knowledge is instantly, honestly, and openly accessible to the people who need it. If that sounds like the kind of thing your business could use, we'd love to have you, start free, no card required.
