Whatever your business already wrote down, it can start answering.
The Service Agent works the same way everywhere: you securely upload what you have, and it answers from that and nothing else. What changes is what you upload and what your customers ask. Here is what that looks like in four kinds of business.
Restaurants and hospitality
Answer the menu and booking questions, and take the order.
Most of what a restaurant is asked is already written down: what is in the dish, what time you close, whether you can seat eight. Upload the menu and the policies and the agent answers from them at midnight, in the visitor's own language. Turn Ordering on and the same agent takes the order, from the menu you approved and nothing else.
What you upload: Your menu, allergen sheet, opening hours and booking policy.
E-commerce and retail
Product, shipping and returns questions, answered from your own catalogue.
Shoppers ask the same handful of things before they buy, and every one they cannot answer is an abandoned basket. Point the agent at your catalogue and policy pages and it answers with your real specifications and your real returns window, cited, rather than a plausible guess.
What you upload: Your product catalogue, shipping and returns policy, size guides.
Documentation and support
Deflect the repeat tickets, and find the gaps in your docs.
A 200-page manual answers the question perfectly and nobody reads it. The agent does read it, and answers the specific question with a citation back to the page. What it could not answer becomes a list of what your documentation is missing, written by the people who needed it.
What you upload: Your help centre, product manuals, FAQs and release notes.
Professional services
Qualify enquiries out of hours instead of losing them.
Clinics, agencies, trades and firms get asked what you do, what it costs and whether you cover an area, usually outside office hours. The agent answers from what you have written, and when someone wants a person it takes their name and number so you have a callback list in the morning rather than a voicemail.
What you upload: Your service descriptions, pricing guidance and engagement policies.
